On Wednesday 12th April 2006 I was back at the Town Hall in Cheltenham this time to see THE AUSTRALIAN BEE GEES SHOW - STAYIN' ALIVE.
The concert mirrored the 'One Night Only' concerts of 1998 with the band dressed in the Black Leather Gear
The band was made up of the following personnel:-
From the first note I thought the band were very close to the sound of the Bee Gees and I was amazed at how close the three main characters resembled the real Gibb Brothers.
The night started with "Alone" with other hits like "Jive Talkin'", "To Love Somebody", "Massachusetts", and "Tragedy" to name but a few.
The only track that I thought did not sound quite right was "Gotta Get A Message To You". When they performed "You Should Be Dancin'" I suddenly realised that the middle instrumental part was very similar to the music played at the end of "STAR WARS Episode I - The Phantom Menace".
My two favourite tracks on the night were "Run To Me" and "Nights On Broadway" both of which I thought were incredible.
